Iron Thunder MC - South Auckland - New Zealand
06-06-1998 was the day Iron Thunder MC came into existence. The club was started by a close knit family and a few good friends in Mangere, South Auckland. All members at that time lived in South Auckland with many born, bred and raised there. One of the reasons "South Auckland" was claimed as our bottom Rocker.
Determined to make a difference and change the public perceptions of MC's, the club was not without it's initial challenges, but true to form and it's motto "Respect All - Bow to None" it met all challenges and continued to grow and gaining respect along the way.
Strong bonds with other MC's and clubs including many overseas clubs that, along with Iron Thunder MC, are part of the World Viking Brotherhood of MC's, were formed.
A key person in our early development that offered advice and knowledge of what to expect in taking this step and sharing his wealth of knowledge, was the late Gypsy Pitman (Black Power MG's). This has served us well to date and shall continue to do so over the years to come.
All other clubs in South Auckland and indeed throughout New Zealand that we have come into contact, have shown us great respect as we have them. After all, if we are divided amongst eachother, we shall certainly fail. We have enough outside pressures without cannibalizing each other.
We look forward to many more years to come and building on already established connections.
